Despite the weather still being a little windy we’ve been diving every day at Sail Rock with steadily improving conditions; yesterday we had 15m vis, loads of fish & some very happy scuba divers! Koh Phangan diving conditions are OK at Mae Haad Reef but not so good down at Haad Yao, & we’re planning some boat dive trips to further destinations as soon as it calms down a little more.
We keep saying it every year, but this time we really do have the best diving team ever assembled for a high season. When Kim arrives tomorrow & Mr Cisco finally makes it over from India (ahem) we’ll have a bunch of multi-national dive pro’s who are as much friends of the school as trusted employees, which is nice. There’s no special gossip at the moment, the only ongoing issue is how Ute is next going lock herself out of the house!
Please note that our Marine Life Guide is still fully functional, but we’ve stopped doing any more uploading while we move to a new, upgraded gallery with a whole load of fresh pics. The new website & marine life gallery is nearly ready at last (500 photos to go…); more news to follow soon.
Finally, if you haven’t done so already, click here to sign a petition organised by PADI’s Project Aware to help try to protect our oceans sharks.
The Best of Wishes from Chaloklum Diving.
