Koh Phangan relaxes, but the diving’s still Great!

Arty Bull Shark at Sail Rock, Sept 2012After a fairly hectic August it’s nice to relax a little as Chaloklum Village & the island quietens down. We’ve still been making regular diving trips to Sail Rock, where scuba dive conditions remain excellent & today we’ve gone to Koh Tao, diving & snorkelling at Shark Island & Laem Tian. The Marine Park hasn’t been special lately, which is a shame, but the vis at the dive sites around Koh Phangan remains thoroughly pleasant.

Not a lot of team news from the diving school; we seem to be eating a lot of meals out & generally living a more easy life. We’ve no news from Mr Kim, so it seems he won’t be making it this time, but we’ve got a few regular supporters to keep us happy. Marc & Ines (Happy Birthday today to Ines!), Alex alias Mr Zen, the mighty Heinz, & Angie expected in the next few days. & Congrats to Mr Mark on completion of your Padi Advanced Open Water Diver Course with Michael, topped with a surfing night dive…

Please check out our u/w photos in the Marine Life Guide & give us some feedback. As it’s quieter now, Nick should be spending more time in the dive centre slaving over a hot computer (suffer boy, suffer), filling out the text & uploading more & better photos. Check out the RSS feeds if you want to keep updated.

The Very Best of Wishes from Chaloklum Diving.
