June on Koh Phangan is Sunny, Hot & Peaceful.

Again we’re back to the hot sunny days… Fine scuba diving conditions at Sail Rock, we gather that Koh Tao is good & we’re waiting for news from any dive trips to the Marine Park. It’s been a little choppy on our local dive sites on the West coast of Koh Phangan, but nice enough vis once you’re diving. Michi arrived back at the dive centre yesterday, 12 days early (the German summer was getting a bit too much!) & an old friend of the diving school (& Divemaster for us 8 years ago), Eric, is back for a break from the computer business in Phuket....

An Excellent Scuba Diving Trip to Samran Pinnacles & Sail Rock

Despite Koh Phangan being a quiet island we managed to stir up enough interest to do a slightly different diving trip yesterday. A happy bunch of scuba divers suggests that we don’t always have to go to Sail Rock in the low season! The next step is to go to 3 dive sites, namely Southwest Pinnacles, Samran & Sail Rock; please let us know if you’re interested.. The team are all taking it reasonably easy & getting some real fun diving done, as a break from either teaching Padi courses or the delights of running the dive centre! Expect more photos as we all get more chances...

Time to relax on Koh Phangan

Koh Phangan is a super quiet island, which is normal for May. Hot, sunny weather, great vis at Sail Rock yesterday & a whaleshark spotted the day before; shame we can’t change the tourist seasons! Anyway it’s a great chance for the diving school team to unwind a little &, guess what?…go Scuba diving. We’re exploring local dive sites on a daily basis, & Samran Pinnacles on Monday/Tuesday is the next special chance for us to get out with the cameras.
